You Are Part of His Plan

Earlier last month, I found myself feeling anxious and worried because I hadn't received any updates from the company I had signed a contract with, even though I was due to start in just two weeks.
Then, on my first day, when I received my equipment, something became very clear to me—they had been planning for me all along.
Why do I say that?
Because when I opened my laptop, I saw emails dating all the way back to June, when I first accepted the role. Even though I hadn't heard anything from them for almost a month, they were quietly preparing everything behind the scenes.
That moment immediately reminded me of something I had read earlier that morning.
Exodus 6:5 says:
> "You can be sure that I have heard the groans of the people of Israel, who are now slaves to the Egyptians. And I am well aware of my covenant with them."
God had not forgotten His covenant. He was fully aware of the promise He had made. He had already declared that He would rescue the Israelites after 400 years.
Every promise God makes carries His power to fulfil it. Even when nothing appears to be happening, He is watching over His word to accomplish it. The silence is not a sign that God has forgotten—it is often evidence that He is working behind the scenes according to His perfect timing.
As it is written in Genesis 15:13–16:
> "Then the Lord said to Abram, 'You can be sure that your descendants will be strangers in a foreign land, where they will be oppressed as slaves for 400 years. But I will punish the nation that enslaves them, and in the end they will come away with great wealth... After four generations your descendants will return here to this land, for the sins of the Amorites do not yet warrant their destruction.'" (NLT)
The Israelites' 400 years of slavery were never evidence that God had abandoned them. It was part of His sovereign plan and timing. In the same way, my two-month wait before starting my new job was not a sign that something had gone wrong.
If God has said it, He will do it. His promises are not empty words, and His delays are never denials. His faithfulness is not determined by what we see but by who He is.
As Numbers 23:19 declares:
> "God is not a man, that He should lie, nor a son of man, that He should change His mind. Does He speak and then not act? Does He promise and not fulfill?"
Likewise, Isaiah 55:11 reminds us:
> "So is My word that goes out from My mouth: It will not return to Me empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it."
Silence does not mean God is absent. It does not mean He isn't listening, working, or preparing. Sometimes, heaven is quiet because God is working behind the scenes. The absence of visible progress doesn't mean the plan has changed—it simply means the appointed time has not yet come.
Our God is a God of perfect timing. In His due time, everything will fall into place.
So, be diligent while you wait. Continue to grow, learn the lessons God is teaching you, and trust the process. If He said it, He will do it. When His timing arrives, you'll realise that He was orchestrating everything all along.
You were always part of His plan.
Never think otherwise.

Bless you sis.
This blessed me.
